Our approach

Built for people who'd rather read, build, and ship.

Most BI and program-management training is video-led, hour-padded, and theoretical. Learning Lab is the opposite: the same artifacts and decision frameworks we use on real GovCon and enterprise engagements, productized into a self-paced format you can work through on your schedule.

Templates over lectures

You get the actual Power BI files, SharePoint architecture diagrams, and Power Automate flow exports. Not "here's what one might look like", here's a real one, sanitized and explained.

Frameworks, not features

When to use Pro vs PPU, when SharePoint is the right backend vs not, how to scope an executive dashboard in 30 minutes. Decision tools, not feature tours.

Async by design

No live cohorts. No scheduled calls. Buy when you're ready, work at your pace, email with questions. Designed for people who already have full calendars.

Modules

Three programs, each standalone.

Each module is a complete program, buy one, two, or all three. Founding-cohort pricing is available for a limited time. Standard pricing applies once the founding window closes.

Module 01

Build an MIS for Program Management

Founding Cohort

Architect a full management information system for your program, Power BI for analytics, SharePoint for the document and workflow backbone, Power Automate for the connective tissue. End result: a working MIS, not a slideware diagram of one.

What you'll build

  • Program operating data model (status, risks, finance, deliverables)
  • SharePoint site architecture with security and lifecycle baked in
  • Power Automate flows for intake, approvals, and notifications
  • Power BI semantic model and core dashboards on top of it
  • Governance plan: ownership, change control, refresh cadence

Who it's for

  • Program managers and program directors
  • PMO leads building or modernizing their reporting stack
  • GovCon ops leaders responsible for executive program reviews
  • Operations directors taking over a tangled set of spreadsheets
  • Anyone tired of stitching together Excel, email, and intuition

Module 02

Executive Reporting Systems for Programs

Founding Cohort

Most program reports drown executives in detail and starve them of decisions. This module is about the opposite: designing reporting systems that surface the three things an exec actually needs to act, every week, without exception.

What you'll build

  • Executive dashboard architecture: one-page view, drill paths, narrative
  • The "executive question canvas", what they're really asking
  • RAG status systems that don't lie (and how to design them)
  • Recurring report cadence: weekly, monthly, quarterly
  • Paginated executive PDFs from Power BI Report Builder

Who it's for

  • Senior managers presenting to VPs and C-suite
  • BD ops, capture managers, and proposal directors
  • Program controllers and finance partners
  • Anyone whose weekly status report gets ignored
  • People who want to translate program data into executive decisions

Module 03

Raw Data to Decision-Ready Dashboards

Founding Cohort

The end-to-end pipeline: messy source data, Power Query transformations, semantic model design, DAX patterns that survive contact with reality, and the enterprise automation flows that keep it running without you. The pipeline most BI training skips.

What you'll build

  • Source assessment framework: connector decisions, refresh limits
  • Power Query patterns for the messy data you actually have
  • Star schema design with real-world tradeoffs (not textbook)
  • DAX pattern library: time intelligence, filters, ranking
  • Enterprise automation flows: scheduled exports, alerts, refresh recovery

Who it's for

  • Analysts and BAs ready to take ownership of the pipeline
  • Ops managers building their first real Power BI environment
  • IT directors trying to standardize their org's reporting
  • Anyone who's been told "Power BI can do that" and needs the how
  • Self-taught Power BI users ready to level up to production-grade

Straight talk

What Learning Lab is, and isn't.

What it is

An async program built around real artifacts: Power BI files you can open, SharePoint architectures you can replicate, Power Automate flows you can import. The lessons are written, short, dense, decision-oriented. There may be a handful of short screen recordings where seeing-it-happen genuinely helps, but no hour-long lectures.

Email support for 30 days, response within 2 business days. We batch responses into a weekly digest so everyone benefits from the questions being asked.

What it isn't

Not a Udemy course. Not a 30-hour video library. Not a live cohort with mandatory Zoom calls. Not a certification program, there's no badge or credential at the end, just a working MIS or dashboard you actually built.

Not for people who want to be lectured to. If you're more comfortable consuming video than reading and building, this isn't the right format. If you'd rather download the Power BI file and dig in, you'll feel right at home.

Questions

Before you buy.

Can I buy all three modules?

Yes, buy any combination separately. There's no bundle pricing yet (we want to learn which modules people want most before bundling). If you're confident you want all three, buying separately right now still locks in $1,500 in founding savings across the three.

Who am I buying from?

Landoe Systems is a two-principal firm with active Secret clearances and 25+ years combined across federal operations, contracts, and Microsoft 365. These are the exact systems we build for GovCon programs and enterprise clients. More about us →

What if I have questions before I buy?

Use the contact form and we'll typically respond within 1 business day. No sales calls, no scheduling pressure, just an email conversation about whether this is the right fit for what you're trying to do.
